This training guides attendees through the UNL Nondiscrimination Policy using practical, real-world examples while highlighting how the policy aligns with state and federal laws. Participants learn to recognize situations that may violate policy across interactions involving students, faculty, and staff, and gain a clearer understanding of shared responsibilities in fostering an inclusive campus environment. The training also introduces available campus resources, explains reporting pathways, and outlines the university’s response process. In addition, attendees learn how the IEC collaborates with departments across campus to deliver clear, consistent, and coordinated messaging that supports compliance, awareness, and community wellbeing.
