UNL faculty, staff, and students serving on search committees are required to complete an educational course covering legal issues and university policies and procedures prior to the search committee reviewing applications. The course is not mandatory for community members serving on a search committee.
The UNL Search Process Overview is a self-paced (about 45 minutes) online Bridge program that covers the most common issues that arise during the search process. It also provides information outlining the process from start to finish. By completing the course, you will receive a two-year certification to serve on search committees. For accommodation assistance, please call IEC at (402) 472-3417.
To schedule a departmental training, contact Jody Wood at (402) 472-0085 or via email at jwood2@unl.edu.
